The PhD Management program at the University of Vienna benefits from the knowledge and experience of a large number of dedicated researchers, lecturers and scientific personnel, who are engaged in academic work in a diverse field. We are comitted to high-quality research, which is reflected in the work published in a wide variety of renowned journals, such as the Journal of Marketing Research or The Strategic Management Journal.

Faculty is one of the key assets any PhD program has to offer. At the University of Vienna, you benefit from the course work, and potentially also from the supervision, of senior research scholars in their field.  You also enjoy the company of early and mid-career researchers from whom you can learn and with whom you can co-operate. The PhD-Management Program is headed by Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Chem. Dr. Markus Georg Reitzig, MBR.

It forms part of the Faculty's overall PhD program across Economics, Finance, Logistics, Management, and Statistics (Head: Univ.-Prof. Dipl.-Vw. Thomas Gehrig, PhD).
