10 April 2016

On 10 April, "Team Strategy", just as in 2014, participated once again in the 2016 Vienna City Marathon, securing a respectable 198th rank among all teams overall (as well as rank 109 in the class of male relay teams) by finishing the race in under 3 hrs and 24 mins. Putting our "economist" hat on, we argue that our age-weighted  team performance increased from 27 team age*distance/total time to 29 team age*distance/total time. Being honest management scholars, we simply admit that our time increased from 3 hrs 14 mins to 3 hrs 23 mins from 2014 to 2016.

The runners in order of appearance:

1.  Helge-Forrest Klapper-Gump - our response to the Ethiopian challenge (16.1 kms, 4 min 29 sec/km)

2. Markus Reitzig - Fat Boy Slim (5.7kms, 4 min 21 sec/km)

3. Christian Schumacher - from Austria with love (9.1 kms)

4. Steffen Keck - "ohne Zweifel" (11.3 kms)
